Mark Medoff is a Tony Award-winning playwright, best known for his play Children of a Lesser God. Medoff was also nominated for the Academy Award for the screenplay adaptation of Children of a Lesser God.
Medoff was the co-founder of the American Southwest Theatre Company in New Mexico. Additionally, Medoff has taught acting, directing, screenwriting, and playwriting at New Mexico State University, and has done guest teaching appointments at other universities around the country.
