Protagonist, Yudy, a strong and confident young woman, excitedly joins the armed forces in pursuit of the military pride and prowess that her respected older brother, Abraham represents.
Yudy鈥檚 high regard for her military 鈥渇amily,鈥� however is deeply tarnished in the aftermath of trauma, as silence, disbelief, and betrayal ensue. Through memory, cadences, creative movement and unexpected humor, we follow Yudy鈥檚 journey as she navigates being a woman, veteran, and something more than a victim of our pervasive rape culture.
