A disappointing 40th birthday leads Sonia, a mother on the verge of a midlife crisis, to leave her family for a binge of prescription Zoloft and deliciously greasy chimichangas. Sonia’s rebellious daughter, Jackie, and her ride-or-die best friend Penelope, come up with a crafty plot to lure Sonia home, while their fathers, Ricardo and Alejandro, struggle with a secret of their own.
