Synopsis

In 1895, Oscar Wilde’s career had reached its pinnacle of success. His greatest work, The Importance of Being Earnest, was a sensation in the West End and he was celebrated across London. However, by summer, Oscar would be serving a two-year prison sentence for gross indecency. The Judas Kiss explores the rise and downfall of Oscar Wilde. Exploring his relationship with Lord Alfed “Bosie Douglas that led to his ill-fated trial, The Judas Kiss shows Wilde’s life the eve of his arrest and after his release from jail - penniless and in exile. This captivating portrait of Oscar Wilde and his willingness to give up his life for an unworthy love makes The Judas Kiss an excellent choice for a mostly male cast. This show contains multiple scenes of nudity.
