START: Julia appears in the doorway. Winston turns to Julia and almost doesn’t recognize her. She’s wearing a red dress and her hair is down.

JULIA: Turn around.

Here I can be a real woman. We can be together. In secret. This is the one place in the world where the past still exists. This is victory.

What’s the matter?

WINSTON: I just� I wish there were words. There used to be words. For moments like this. For how I feel. For you. They’re changing everything. Everything’s going.

END: JULIA: Where are you now, Winston? This is ours. Our room. The present moment. This is ours.
