Hugo: Sir!

Patrice: Sir?

Hugo: I was looking for you.

Patrice: For me?

Hugo: You. (Seizes Patrick’s arm.) Come with me. (Drags Patrice U.L. of conservatory, then across to R.) We put the incident on a proper footing. We fight by moonlight, in the spinney, with pistols. Don’t be afraid; I’m a very good shot. I promise I shan’t hit you.
