(Café music. Brenda is sitting alone sipping on a drink. Mallet Man enters. His jacket is unbuttoned and we can see the logo on his chest. He also still has his superhero glasses on.
Pierre (Quietly to Dexter) I like dressing up too. It’s very, how you say, “sexy!�
(Pierre signals to Dexter that his logo is showing and is wearing weird glasses. He quickly pulls it off, closes his jacket and joins her).
Dexter Brenda, I can explain�
Brenda Don't bother. You always seem to have another� Out of this world excuse for being late. Just once� That's all I'm asking, just once, you put me first before your job.
Dexter It's not that simple.
