Text

Start: Val: Did Max get in yet? Excuse me. Am I interrupting? Forgive me. Pay no attention.
Milt: The man apologizes three times in one sentence and hasn’t said good morning yet.

[...]

End: Val: Where is everyone? Five after ten and we haven’t put two lousy words down on paper.
Milt: He’s right. Hey, Luke. Put two lousy words down on paper. (Into phone) Collette? Milt. Listen, babe. We’ll have to cancel tonight. It’s my wife’s birthday. Unless I can convince her she’s wrong.
