LAUREN: They went to get wine. Sam’s a sarcastic bastard, huh?
JENNY: But we laugh along.
LAUREN: Oh sure, he’s a hoot. Until you’re the target.

JENNY: Maybe. But it goes both ways, right? I need him to believe in me. There’s something here, Lauren. And I’m sorry, but I don’t think it’s like your parakeets. It’s not comforting.
