JEAN: Well, that's that.
(Picks up some newspapers.)
Can anyone tell me what the whole thing added up to? (Pause.)
ARCHIE: My aunt always used to say the same thing, ‘Well, they gave him a good send off.� Always said it without fail.

ARCHIE: Well, I never really believed in all that inner cleanliness anyway. Did I leave a bottle of beer in here last night?
PHOEBE: I don't think so, dear.
ARCHIE: If you're not careful, Jean, people will start putting labels on you pretty soon. And then you'll just be nobody. You'll be nobody like the rest of us.
