ESPERANCE: You told me that this day would never come. You promised me. When you were in the hospice you said that the worst was over. “Don’t worry, I am the last victim of the genocide� I remember you saying, “I am the last�.

When they found me, they thought I was gone. Blood, blood everywhere. Somehow I survived, but Mama, I’m tired. I don’t think I can be a survivor anymore.
